Price : US $ 1200
American Concert Series, models introduced in late 1933.
At introduction all models are 16\" wide with f-holes,
carved spruce top, maple back and sides, trapeze tailpiece,
black bakelite pickguard, 3-piece maple neck, (2 pieces of
maple with rosewood laminate stripe), 14 frets clear of body,
24 1/2\\\\\\\" scale, ebony fingerboard with pointed end,
rounded peak peghead.
This guitar is missing one dot inlay on the 9th fret,
has a repaired section on left corner of the back, the floating bridge
is broken on either side of both E strings and it appears to have had
a crack repaired under the strings on the front, also has several worn
spots which can be seen in the photos. It plays well with a solid sound,
not tinny at all and carries well. It does not have an adjustable truss
rod but the neck is straight, not twisted or warped, and does not seem
to have ever been reset. All original except for replaced tuners....
includes original beat-up case (duct taped together)
This guitar is sold (sold on 2012-05-02)
