This is a low action 1967 Gretsch player with plenty of Mojo:

Those are not only my words but the words of other people who know of this guitar or played it. The original owner is deceased but the legacy lives on.

This is a 1967 GRETSCH VIKING #87348 is 90% in its original unmolested condition:

accept for the following: The original SPACE CONTROL BRIDGE, which is a Vintage Gibson ABR-1

Also the little knob just above the original front & rear pick up nobs. This is just something to fill the hole were the original nob was, that controlled the up & down movements of the missing TUNING FORK BRIDGE which is not uncommon to be missing on a player like this one.

This guitar is equipped with:

Original pair of SUPER-TRON pick-ups US pat. # 2892371

Original Gold GRETSCH BIGSBY tailpiece

Original NECK & BODY

Original Gold GROVER tuners

Original Gold Gretsch pic guard

Original VOLUME POTS & working

Original Stock round cushion pad

Condition : Play tested by a local well know expert.

Both pickups work but not at the same time: possible wire issue (unsure if this a common issue with this guitar) please let me know if you have any information:

Other than that the guitar is working properly, the neck is straight & truss rod is well adjusted: Also equipped with high quality strings

There are a few issues with the condition of the body, like some bubbling on the Nitro Cellulose finish by tuners, front & back (photos) Also some cracks & yellowing on binding.

The large wearing spot wear the right arm lay while strumming the strings and the back of the neck where the left hand hammered out the notes.

The right upper corner appears to have some type of paint mending, barely noticeable but the paint does not match. (See photos) and zoom into questionable areas.

100% ORIGINAL CASE: All snaps work on the original burgundy case which is a rare find in this condition. Most of the wear is on the outside, nicks and scrapes.

Sold ! This guitar is sold (sold on 2014-07-19)
