This Vintage Regal was made in the USA sometime during the 1930's(previous owner said his father bought this guitar in 1937). This was during the time was also producing dobro branded resonators. This model is possible a 27(if you have further information on this, please email). This resonator has a unbound mahogany top w/ gloss black finish. Sides have matching finish. Back appears to be maple w/ black/tobacco sunburst finish. Set V-shaped maple neck has 19 fret ebony fingerboard w/ pearl dot inlays. Narrow slotted headstock has open tuners w/ white keys, logo decal on pegface barely remains. 10' aluminum cone resonator has chrome cover(patent #: 1872633). 2 small round soundholes w/ screens and chrome rings. Chrome trapeze tailpiece. The neck has some dents and wear(mainly from capo use). Even so, it is comfortable to play with excellent action(slide or fretted). It produces the delightful vintage dobro tone. Headstock shows finish wear along edges, Back of body has scratches and marks. Body has finish wear along edges, and on top by treble side soundhole & treble side of resonator cover. This Regal is in very good condition and comes with a lined hardshell case.
