This is a Vintage 1989 ALVAREZ Regent Series model 5212 Acoustic Guitar.
(Serial #: SL 8904000407 --> Year is estimated based on serial #)
The Spruce top has aged nicely over the years and has a vintage golden hue.  The Mahogany Body resonates a warm low and mid tones with a clear high.

The bridge has 2 screws that allow string action to be adjusted to fit your playing style.  There is also a truss rod that allows the neck to be adjusted thru the sound hole.

This is a players guitar with its share of scratches and dings, but it will feel nice and broken in like your old pair of jeans.

I just purchased my 5212 from a Gold exchange (Fancy name for a pawnshop)for $100. It is in excellent condition and sounds heavenly; from the first strum I knew I wanted it. Since getting it home I carnauba waxed it and it looks awesome. I play live open mic's in and around Salem, Oregon and it will definitely be a new "weapon" in my musical arsenal. Kent Salem, OR
