1930's / 1940's Vintage Parlor Guitar Art Deco Stella
This guitar is no longer for sale (sold on 2007-10-02)
Price : US $152.50
Here is an old cool vintage parlor guitar. The name says Mele, B&J, New York. I know B&J was a distributor, but I'm not sure who made the guitar. It is in amazing condition, no cracks, all original. Missing tuners and floating bridge. I looked inside and all the braces are intact and not loose. There is a bridge plate inside as well, so you could put a fixed bridge on if you desire. Guitar is all solid wood, probably birch. Hardly any wear on fingerboard, Frets are bar frets. Guitar would need a neck reset if you wanted to play fingerstyle. Image looks like a couple of Art Deco Native Indians with a head dress and bows. Sunburst top, back and sides. Guitar is sold as is, no reserve, so have fun!! Let me know if you have any questions or would like anymore photos. Shipping is $40 via UPS within Canada/US.
