Don't believe the guy on Vancouver Craigslist. This guitar DID NOT sell. So this isn't an indication of price. These are awesome guitars - Play one and then see what you think it's worth.

I just purchased a W3100. It's a amazing instrument, with i have been told and also believe: solid rio rosewood back and sides, and a solid spruce top. Sounds amazing, and i think these instruments are real good quality.

Piet, I have no further information about your W3100 type. Last month I talked to the importer of Hashimotos in Belgium (back in the '70ies) and he advised me never to let go of the Hashimoto: they were top instruments back then. Which from mt experience is true. Happy music!

Bought my W350 in 1977 from new - paid £74. Nice looking guitar with thin neck and low action. Beutiful Rosewood and Spruce woods. Fitted a Fishman Matrix pre-amp and undersaddle pick up recently. Sounds wonderfull.

More comment: after having this W350 set up for lower action, intonation corrections ( new bridge) and all-around bone equipment this Hashimoto shines! The luthier who did the works appreciated her more than many Martin D28 soundwise. I've go me a brilliant dread now, It's a keeper!
