I bought this guitar about a year ago in hopes I would do the necessary work to make it one of my stage guitars. I didn't get around to doing anything with it . So it has sat in my living room and collected dust. This guitar has a couple of issues that need to be addressed in order to be a player. It first needs a new nut as the installed nut is not correctly cut. Second it has a heel crack that appears to have been done long ago, and is very stable, but could use a wet sanding and re-spray to make it look nice. I really wanted to replace the original plastic bridge with a new wood bridge as the plastic is lifting, typical of all these Gibson/ Epiphones of this era. The lifting is minimal and does not absolutely need to be removed but they sound much better with wood. Now for the good parts, this guitar is completely original and is X braced like it's LG-3 brother . If you are in the market for Gibson, you know how expensive they can be. This guitar is crack free with low fretware , with the typical Epi small C neck. Sorry , I do not have a case to ship it in. But , it just has to go, and I will entertain any reasonable offer. I ship to the continental USA, pro packaged , and insured. This guitar is sold as is and I will answer all questions to the best of my knowlege and expertise. This will be a great player for someone willing to do a little work. Check my other auctions, and check my feedback.
