This is a 2002 Fender Highway One (1) Stratocaster. This was the debut year of the Highway One, and I bought it new as a backup guitar, and have enjoyed it very much for more than five years. The Highway One was introduced as a more affordable American-made Strat, having a satin finish, a standard bridge instead of the American Series Strat bridge, and the Delta-Tone pickups, which are much warmer-sounding than my G&L Legacy's pickups. It is Teal Green, has a maple neck, and because of the satin finish it is slightly more prone to scratches, as you can see in the pictures. I would say the guitar is in very good shape, with several scratches and dings. I have removed the back plate. The guitar comes with gig bag and whammy bar, and has just been professionally set up by John Mann in Nashville, Tennessee, with 9-42 gauge D'Addario strings. He also gave it a fresh fret dressing, and the guitar is in great playing shape, with a medium-low action.
These guitars sell for $749 brand new. I'm starting the bidding at $300, and charging $35 for shipping to anywhere in the contiguous United States. If you want it shipped elsewhere, let me know and we'll work something out.
*** DOES include Fender gig bag and whammy bar.
Take good care of her!
