Superior to today's Les Pauls, hands down. This is a solid black LP Studio with an ebony fretboard and pearloid trapezoid inlays. Mahogany body. I upgraded the pickups to the Seymour Duncan Distortion set. Amazingly, with the volume rolled down they sound super sweet on clean settings...but full on they're perfect for high gain amps. This thing really chugs, sings and cuts through like you can't believe.
The hardware looks really nice. For most of it's life I had it outfitted with black hardware and I've put the original tuning pegs and hardware back on now that it's up for sale. The pearl pickguard is aftermarket also. I have the original black pickguard which I will ship with the guitar though.
This is not a museum piece. It's not got nicks, scratches here and there. As you can see in the photos there is a place on the top edge where my wrist rubbed through the finish, same thing on the cutaway. I think it gives it character and despite, or perhaps due to the close up 'relicing' as some call it, it looks amazing onstage. You can virtually point at this guitar and it will play. It's a very fine instrument.
Will be SAFELY double boxed. $40 to 48 US states. $120 to most other parts of the world.
