This is a very rare, Early 1970's 4 bolt Jazz Bass Neck, with original string tree, and nut.

This Neck was used on a 1963 Precision Bass Body, which I will be selling separately on EBay along with other Vintage Bass Parts.

I’ve played this Neck frequently in the past, and it is the best Jazz neck I’ve ever played. The early 70's Fender necks have a tone and feel that is second to none. In fact, Fender now reissues this neck on a few of their new Basses, the Geddy Lee Jazz Bass, the 75 reissue Jazz Bass and the Squire Jazz bass.

This Neck is all original. The binding and inlays look very good and the truss rod works like it should. The Neck is straight, with no buzzes or dead spots. The maple fingerboard is in very good condition as well as the black inlays and binding. The original frets show some wear, but still have plenty of life left. The decals are in very good condition. The headstock has a very nice amber color, and there is some heavy checking in the finish, with no over-spray.

This Neck comes with the original String Tree and Nut.

Email any questions. Shipping in USA is $25.00 flat rate. International shipping is $75.00.

There are some extra screw holes in the back of the peghead from where earlier style Tuners (1963 P-Bass) were installed.
