Thanks for looking at this item. I got this guitar in 2004 and used it as my main guitar until i got my esp eclipse last year. it has seen several gigs and many practices. It is in very good condition without any if very little fret ware. It has a few nicks at the tail with one that goes to the wood(photos). There is another nick under the low E string tuner on the back of the guitar. The guitar sounds awsome. Everything is original and i will ship it with the stock white pickguard installed. The pickguard shown is steel diamond plate and is included with the guitar, along with a stainless steel pickguard. I don't play in a band anymore and I own four other guitars (esp eclipse, esp truckster, gibson LP studio, esp kh203) so I don't need this guitar anymore. I know this is one of my first items for sale but I will not steer you wrong. I plan on doing a lot more selling here. My first transaction was the truckster, besides everyone has to start somewhere.
The body of the Gibson Explorer Electric Guitar is solid mahogany for a fat and punchy sound, while the dual blazing-hot ceramic magnet humbuckers (496-R and 500-T) sizzle and snarl with aggressive authority. The Explorer's radical design not only looks sharp, but it also offers excellent playing balance. Other features include a 22-fret rosewood fingerboard with dot inlay, tune-o-matic bridge with stopbar tailpiece, and Grover machine heads. Made in the USA. Includes Gibson hardshell case. Hardshell case has ware, scratches and rips. The neck is straight, there is no fret buzz, the action is a little high be
