Presented for your bidding consideration is 1970's Prudencio Saez Requinto guitar. It was purchased in the early 70's I want to say 1972 in Puerto Rico at Melody Center in Rio Piedras. It retains that music stores lable on the top rear headstock. Solid spruce top and mahogany sides and back. One tight crack on top which seems stable. This type of guitar which is smaller but you know that if your looking, is used as the lead guitar in romatic musica de trios all over Latin America, Spain, and of the United States. My father was Rey Arroyo of el trio Santurce and of course Rey Arroyo y su Trio as well as several other trios in Puerto Rico, New York and Mexico for about a year. You can find some of his recordings for sale here on ebay and there is some history of him on the net if your interested. This guitar can also be used for a younger student of Classical Guitar becase of its smaller size but dont let its size fool you. Its a real Spanish classical made by Prudencio Saez and more than likely one of the first to be exported. Nice resonance and sustain and of cours a well balnce tonal range but do not expect booming basses from a requinto as mentioned earlier its primary use is for lead work. I thank you for looking and good luck.
