1979 Natural Gibson L5s Guitar L 5s L5 s
This guitar is no longer for sale (sold on 2007-10-02)
Price : US $2,999.
Please read the entire description. Up for your bidding is a 1979 L5s Gibson Guitar. The guitar was built using original 1979 Gibson L5s parts left from the Gibson Kalamazoo, MI factory. It was built by former Gibson Guitar Builder, Mr Pete Marino in 1991 in his 'little red guitar shop'.
The top and bottom is made of a beautifully matched 2-piece highly figure maple. (As you know, several L5s were made with 3 piece tops. 2 piece tops are rare.) Custom pickup rings were made by the late Greg Haxty ... check it his old website which I believe his family has kept up http://www.haxtyguitars.com/.
This L5s was made with a tunamatic bridge and Gibson Kluson tuners. It has a ebony fingerboard and PINK abalone inlays throughout.
Thank you for your interest. This is a high ticket item therefore please ask all the questions you need before bidding. I am not a retail store and sell all my items as is. Also, I recommend that you purchase insurance as well as I am not responsible for shipping damages.
A gibson case that is non-original to the guitar will be included.
This guitar is sold (sold on 2007-10-02)
