Due to financial needs,It's time to find a new home for this rare guitar. The best estimate of production is 1974.Most likely sold in the US in late 1974 or early 1975.In the beginning this model was not called the Iceman but rather Artist 2663.The Iceman name came in 1977 when Paul Stanley began playing them.
Select Mahogany top with mahogany body

Hard mahogany neck with adjustable truss rod
Smooth tuner machine heads
Special design Ibanez Super 70 humbuckers
There is a serial number stamped at the last fret.It is stamped: Z04
The top on this guitar is quite clean and shiney. Some light scratches,a small varnish crack by the input jack. The back has some scratches and nicks, the largest one near the center exposes the wood.A few smaller ones to wood also. This guitar has been played,There are two spots on the back of neck that made it through the finish but do not hamper playing.
As I am not a guitar tech, I have made no attempt to change any thing for fear of devaluing it.The frets have considerable wear from the first to the tenth. From the tenth fret to the 22nd they are beefier and in better shape. The first ten frets do not show wear from string indentations but appear rather flatter. There is visable scratching on them, most notably at the first, second and the ninth fret.Perhaps a poor attempt at fret dressing by an amature,I'm honestly not sure.
The action is set very low. This
