1920 Gibson L1 archtop guitar

Up for auction is my 1920 Gibson L1 round hole archtop guitar, serial number 60507 (as best as I can make out the somewhat faint pencil writing). Original tuners work fine, fat V neck is dead on straight. The guitar is very solid, no loose braces, joints or seams. Bridge and tailpiece are recent replacements that I bought from Luthiers Mercantile and put on myself. The finish is the classic brown used by Gibson on mandolins and guitar during that period, and is pretty worn. I think it gives it that vintage beauty. The back is particularly beat up and it looks like some liquid was spilled on it. As can be seen in the photo, someone installed a rectangular pickup in the soundhole at one time and carved the hole a bit to do it.
It's has plenty of volume (not as much as a dreadnaught but pretty good for an archtop). Tone is a mix between the jazzy quick decay of an archtop and the more ringing tone of a flat top. Great for old time or blues. Frets are in good shape and I would guess (but can't be certain) that they're original.
I bought it to satisfy my desire for an old Gibson, but then I bought and old J45 so this one's gotta go to help pay for the new one. This is a cool old guitar and very playable.
No case, but I will package it to arrive safely. Please email for more pics or questions.
Can pay by paypal for quick turn around, money order, or personal check but I would wait until it clears before I ship. Buyer to pay shipping. I'm never sure how much it will cost to ship a guitar but $40 is in the ballpark, so let's just call it that.%3
