Vintage 1973 Gibson Les Paul Deluxe Goldtop

This is a vintage 1973 Gibson Les Paul Deluxe Goldtop. It's All Original, except for the pickguard and strap buttons. The strap buttons are mid 1980's Gibson anchors which I put on all my playing guitars. These are the best in my opinion because you can use any strap and don't have to worry about the guitar slipping out of the strap. (I don't like straplocks). The pots are dated 1973 with all original solders. The pickups are the original PATENT NO. Sticker mini-humbuckers, and they sound amazing. The Original finish has ample checking and wear, but has that one of a kind vintage vibe. The original frets still have some life left. The tuners were changed at one time, but the originals are back on with no extra holes. This has a solid crack repair right at the neck volute with no issues, and stays in tune like a rock. There's a small hairline crack right below the high E tuner, probably from when they were changed. It's just cosmetic and not an issue, but I wanted to mention it. Also, the bridge studs were routed for Nashville inserts, and then filled in and replaced with the original Pat. No. Abr-1. The action is great, and this guitar plays like a dream. It's also pretty lightweight at just under 9 lbs. She's a great player; not for the collector... The case is pretty beat up and duct taped together, but looks original.
