THIS IS A RARE FIND. AN ORIGINAL VINTAGE GRETSCH ELECTROMATIC STANDARD AMPLIFIER. VALCO MADE. 8 INCH ROLA SPEAKER CLEARLY MARKED SERIAL NUMBER 285050. THE SPEAKER FRAME IS MARKED 6300. THESE NUMBERS INDICATE A MANUFACTURING YEAR OF 1950. THE AMPLIFIER IS IN BEAUTIFUL ORIGINAL CONDITION AND SOUNDS GREAT. THE GUITAR IS A GRETSCH ELECTROMATIC LAP STEEL. VALCO MADE. IT IS BROWN PEARLOID. THE SERIAL NUMBER IS X17978, INDICATING A MANUFACTURING DATE IN 1953. ALSO IN BEAUTIFUL ORIGINAL CONDITION. IT SOUNDS WONDERFUL. THE TUNING KEYS ARE WORN. THE GUITAR ALSO HAS AN ORIGINAL CUSTOM CASE. THE CASE IS IN GREAT CONDITION AND SEEMS TO HAVE BEEN CHOSEN TO COMPLEMENT THE COLORS OF THE AMPLIFIER. THERE IS ALSO A SMALL, VERY USED, PAMPHLET ABOUT THE GUITAR. PRETTY GENERIC, BUT SOMEWHAT INFORMATIVE. THE AMP, GUITAR AND CASE WERE VERY NICELY KEPT. NOT SHABBY OR SCUFFED LOOKING. PLEASE SEE THE PHOTOS AND ASK IF YOU HAVE QUESTIONS. IF YOU NEED MORE PHOTOS, ASK. THANKS FOR TAKING TIME TO LOOK AT THIS. WE THINK IT WILL BE ABOUT 75.00 FOR SHIPPING. WE SHIP TO CONTINENTAL U.S. ONLY. IF THE ACTUAL COST IS LESS, YOU WILL PAY LESS. IF YOU WANT TO PICK IT UP THAT WILL BE FINE TOO. TAYLOR, MI 48180.On Jun-22-08 at 10:22:28 PDT, seller added the following information:
There has been a question about plugging the cable into the guitar. The guitar has a MALE plug sticking out and the FEMALE end of the cable screws onto it. The MALE end of the cable plugs into the amplifier. Thanks.
