1960's Kay Truetone Vintage Electric Guitar
This was made in the Chicago factory in the 1960s. l came across this electric guitar at an estate sale near the delta (Vicksburg Mississippi). The neck and frets are in very good shape and the pickups are full of tone and that delta mojo. Pots, wiring, and switches need cleaning and there is a small piece missing from the pickguard. One volume knob is missing and the jack needs adjustment. The bridge can be lowered but the action is pretty good as is. The frets are still good and there doesn't seem to be any dead-spots on the fretboard. With little effort you can have a sweet axe!!
The guitar has lots of mojo and tons of tone. The pickups (maybe redfoil dearmonds) sound a lot like Dearmond goldfoils (which sell for $100 each) and overdrive very warm and smooth.
I ship only within the continental US (48 states). I have tried to explain this item to the best of my ability. All sales are final so please ask all questions before you bid. Good Luck!!
No case but I will pack safely and securely!!
