Do to an EVILE non-paying, non-communicating high-bidder I'm relisting this Supro.   The Buy It Now option is less than the high bid last time, so if you want it snatch it up because this is a no reserve auction and the BIN option will disappear once bidding begins

Here for auction a really fine, totally original, totally playable circa late- 50's Supro made Tosca-branded single cut with a single pickup in the neck position.  This is a solid-wood Supro, not the Res-o-glas.  It has a short 22' scale.

What a pickup!   Don't let the looks fool you, this is actually a single coil pickup, though not your run-of-the mill single by any means.  Under that hum-looking PAF type cover is actually a single coil with a big bar magnet next to the single coil--I'm not sure if this was meant to increase the size of the magnetic field or was some early attempt at humbucking (it is quiet...) but whatever the case it's totally unique and sounds awesome.  Believe it or not, I think this makes a fine jazz guitar.  Nice big, warm, lush sound.     It's got three-on-a-strip original gold Kluson Deluxe tuners.  Just go and see how much these are selling for by themselves on ebay!  One tuner has a slightly bent post but they are all in fine working order.

No issues with this guitar, it's ready to roll. There's some chips here and there, and it's missing some finish on the back of the neck.  But the frets are fine,

What would the difference be it the guitar being the same had a Gretsch label on the headstock?

I have the identical Tosca guitar with 2 pickups as well. Unfortunately, I sanded off the original copper finish and stained the wood body. Still plays well

I have this exact guitar except mine has 2 pickups. Plays well, sounds good and is a fun axe. Took it apart and put in suitcase to fly out of country to have a player with me. Cool guitar for any collection.
