Up for auction is a vintage, 1940's, made in Chicago, Regal archtop acoustic guitar. This rare, green label Regal archtop features a solid mahogany top, back and sides. This guitar is in excellent condition, showing very little signs of play wear. The neck of this awesome Regal archtop has been solidly and neatly reset. Solidly intact throughout. Original rosewood bridge. This archtop also features the often hard to find original pickguard. Besides being beautifull to look at, this guitar also sounds outstanding. Notice the fancy black and white finger position inlays on the fretboard. The slender neck and original brass frets are in like new condition. The neck is perfectly straight. The action is of this guitar is very low. String height at the twelfth fret is a remarkable 1/8 inch. This particular Regal model is quite hard to find, especially in this fine condition.
