1970's Gibson SG 100 great player
This guitar is no longer for sale (sold on 2007-10-12)
Price : US $430.00
This auction is for a 1970's Gibson SG 100. The blue book of electric guitars says that this is either a '70 or a '71. I need to get a magnifying glass to read the serial #, I will post that as soon as I have it. The neck pickup sounds are extremely sweet on this model. There is a
lot of various sounds you can achieve using the tone and volume
control. With the tone rolled off, and the right overdrive, you can nail
the Billy Gibbons sound.By adjusting the tone, and changing gain on
your setup, you can get hard blues down to soft little wing type
chordings. It seems to fall into a
range that is a little fender and a little gibson, with a full range of
neck pickup tone. This guitar has the best action of any guitar I've ever played and can go through a tornado and still be in tune. As far as I know this guitar is all original. It is missing the bridge cover but I bet it wouldn't be hard to find a replacement. One of the string saddles has a chip out of it corner but doesn't effect anything. Some dings on the back of the guitar (see photos). This guitar also comes with a new Gibson hardshell case.
I WILL ONLY SHIP WITHING THE UNITED STATES! For shipping quotes email me your zip code. I will ship via fedex with insurance. I expect contact within 24 hours of end of auction and payment within 3 days.
