Mexican Requinto (Treble) guitar. Hand Made in Ciudad Paracho, Michuacan Mexico.

I took this in on trade, and being that I am an electric Blues/Hendrix style guitarist have no use for it in my personal collection or in my teaching studio. I was told by the original owner that he paid almost $400.00 for this instrument when he bought it new.

Incredibly beautiful workmanship and quality wood. Beautiful binding all around sound board and sides. The Real Mother of Pearl inlay around the sound hole is incredibly beautiful to look at.

Bright shimmering high tone. Very small scale size makes this an outstanding sounding lead intstrument. These are tuned to G, not E or A 440 like a standard classical guitar. But it can easily be de-tuned to A440 and played as a regular standard guitar. I will ship it tuned to A440.

Has had pick up installed so it can be plugged into an amplifier. Has cracks in finish around where input jack for pickup was installed. The luthier who installed this pickup told me that when he went to drill the hole for the input jack, the finish cracked and checkered by the hole. Another (much Better ) Luthier told me that the finish could be repaired for about $75.00. Why bother? I cannot tell that it makes any difference in the way it sounds or plays but want to be sure whoever is looking at it does understand that the issue is there. The pickup does work and there are no other problems or issues that I can find with the guitar. I have set the BUY IT NOW at a VERY REASONABLE $250.00 because of the issue of the finish around the in
