Vintage Parlor Guitar 1920's/30's Hawaiian Stencil Art
This guitar is no longer for sale (sold on 2007-10-13)
Price : US $225.00
Here is a Cool Retro Parlor Guitar with Hawaiian scene on lower bout. Over the last couple years I was told it dates from either the 1920’s or 30’s.
As can be seen from the pictures the guitar shows playing wear on the back of the neck and strumming area. The body is structurally sound with no visible cracks. The neck is straight with an action height of about 1/8 inch at the twelfth fret low e string. It has a nice V profile neck. Plenty of Fret life left. Not sure, but it may have had a re-fret at some point in its life. The bridge is a definite replacement.
The guitar measures in at 37 inches tip to toe. It is 13 ¼ inches at the lower bout, 9 ¾ inches at the upper bout, 3 ¾ inches deep. It Comes with the case shown in the last picture. I don’t know if the case is original.
Looks Good and Sounds Good. I just need to sell it to go towards a vintage Les Paul I bought.
