BC Rich NJ ST III Strat ST3 ST 3 Kahler STIII
This guitar is no longer for sale (sold on 2007-10-06)
Price : US $160.00
Up for bid today is a 80's classic BC Rich NJ ST-III with a Kahler Flyer tremelo system.
The guitar is painted in a white pearl finish and has a fair amount of knick or marks in the body/ headstock (too many to list -please see pics). The guitar is set-up perfectly with 10-46 GHS Boomers and intonated perfectly as well. This guitar screams as it has a Seymour Duncan JB-L (little jb?) and two stacked single coils (name worn off unknown brand). The cosmetics on this guitar are by no means perfect, but I would say it is in good shape considering its age (ST-IIIs were released in 1987). The guitar has a working locking nut and Sperzel locking tuners as well, however the Kahler has a couple of issues; first, it is missing the bar, 2nd the fine tuners are missing as well (not a problem if you just use the Sperzels), lastly, 2 of the saddles (both E's) have been replaced with chrome saddles instead of the original black ones (the unit overall still works great). In case you don't know, Kahler is back in business and these missing parts can ordered for about $60.00. These guitars have been used by many of the 80's guitar greats such as; Tony Mac Alpine, CC Deville and Vivian Campbell. No case is included, but I will throw in a gig bag for free. Happy bidding and thanks for looking.
