Price : US $1,225.
You’re looking at a beautiful Original 1965 body and neck Fender Jaguar with its original L series neck plate. The serial # is L12628 indicating it was manufactured at the Fullerton Plant in 1965. The action is low with no buzzing anywhere, the frets are in like new condition, the neck is straight as an arrow and the electronics are squeaky clean. I am not the original owner I bought it together with a 72 mustang a few years back during my Punk Rock Years and never changed a thing on it. I have researched this guitar and the body and neck are original with the exception of a custom paint job (three tone sunburst) by legendary Puerto Rican luthier Eric Cabrer of Cabrer Guitars. I'm not sure if the electronics are original. This guitar is rare due to the binding on the neck, I haven't seen any other jaguar with neck binding. There are no issues with this guitar at all. Just slap on a new pair of strings and you’ll be ready to rock. The photos speak for themselves. Play this guitar and it's not hard to see why so many legends have fallen in love with its tone. The guitar will be shipped in a non original but still vintage Fender tweed case.
Non original parts:
Pickups, pickguard and hardware are all Fender Genuine replacement parts.
Buzz stop accessory is not original. It gives better string angle for better sustain, and eliminates string slipping from saddle.
Work done on the gui
