This is a 1952 Silvertone 1385L archtop electric guitar. It's virtually identical to the Espanada except the binding is not aluminum. The body is 3' thick jazz style guitar. The neck was worked on and is straight. It was just refretted and the action was set up so it it plays like butter. All the electronics are original, have been cleaned and work perfect. It's got the usual wear for a guitar thats been played for 52 years; there's some crazing and a worn paint areas but overall it's a beautiful example. The tonal range is extremely full and stunning. The tuning keys are original.
This Silvertone guitar is great piece of American craftsmanship. Not only is it incredible to look at it sounds amazing too. This is a collector guitar that will continue to appreciate in value because it's so rare!
