Price : US $1,475.
1981 Gibson Les Paul Standard USA - One of the last of the Kalamazoo, MI models to come out. Beautiful cherry sunburst on front and back (even the neck). Straight neck, no issues except for a scratchy neck pickup pot ( easy fix). Includes original case, but is a little beat up. All latches and hinges are intact. Bone nut, original PAFs. Bound and crowned. Frets have plenty of life left in them, but are the standard flat ones that Gibson uses. Original keystone tuners replaced with genuine German Schallers back in the day when hair was long and pants were tight. Serial number # 81001515. I bought from the original owner who was a touring musician back in the 80's. The body is in great shape with some moderate buckle rash on the back and the top is near spotless. It was a player, but very nice for its age. The top of the headstock has a paint scrape, but no structural issues. No breaks. Heavy compared to my Tele's ( guess 9.5 lbs plus, but no scale to varify) Back is solid piece of mahagony and maple cap is two piece. Very warm, but not dark sounding instrument due to the maple neck on these models. I prefer to not sell to Malaysia or anyone without a varified Paypal address. No reserve auction, so bid away.. Bidding starts at $1200, and if you buy it now, I will ship it to
