Price : US $659.00
1983 Gibson Spirit II w/OHSC. Serial # 81103565 which I have been informed makes this one of the last Gibsons built in the Kalamazoo plant (please correct me if any of this is wrong). I bought this used about 10 years ago at McKenzie River Music in Eugene, OR. when I thought I needed a PRS but couldn't afford one. Great action and super fast neck, almost TOO easy to play. Rock and roll dream tone machine. Original pickups and pots have been replaced with DiMarzio PAF and ToneZone pikcups resulting in thick, juicy Santana type neck tone with crunchy, articulate bridge power. See my other auction for original Tim Shaw humbuckers. Guitar has normal wear for its age so look closely at the photos and ask all questions prior to bidding. Winning bidder is responsible for all shipping charges. I will only charge the exact cost for your shipping preference, I do not profit from shipping charges. On Oct-10-07 at 12:54:46 PDT, seller added the following information:
The original output jack plate is cracked and has been repaired. You can see it has been glued with some pieces of a pick in the photo. Also, the lower strap lock was relocated prior to me owning it. I will send photos on request.
