Here's an interesting piece for restoration. Body only (Project) - ES-150 DC. The serial number indicates 1967, but I believe this is a 1969 since that was the first year introduced.
Let me give you some of the issues first. The neck has had some work done on it. The fingerboard has been re-radiused to give more of an arch more like a fender; consequently the edges of the fingerboard have gotten somewhat thinner (you'll notice the fingerboard binding is down to the position markers as you go up the neck). The bass side wing of the head looks to have been repaired (see pics), not the typical headstock break/repair - the center section hasn't sustained any break. Grover vintage style tuners were installed at one time. Consequently, the neck only (and face of the headstock) has been rather unprofessionally refinished - not a good color match as you can see in the pic of the heel close-up, and the glossy clear seems to fade to a satin as you get closer to the back of the headstock. The body looks like the original finish albeit with dings, somewhat worn areas, and the expected checking. There are also three additional holes drilled (two on the bass side bout, one on the treble side bout) for mini-switches.
On the positive side, this is a rather rare model that was only around from 1969 to 1975. An interesting combination of features: the depth and tone of an ES-175, looks and higher register accessibility of an ES-335 (triple bound top like an ES-345), and the addition of a master volume control on the treble bout.
