Gibson j45 banner headstock western. This is a great guitar! Sounds rich and woody, beautifully balanced nice big lows, ringing chimey trebles tones all the way up the neck, with wonderfully articulated mid like the J45 is famous for. This is the Centennial Edition made in 1994, Gibson's 'golden year ' of the modern Bozeman era. The Western edition differs form the standard J45 in that it has the following upgrades: Banner headstock, Kluson tulip tuners, B band under saddle pick up. master grade spruce top. (mahogany back and sides,) brazilian bridge pins and pearloid end pin joint. Gorgeous sunburst! Plays like butter. Sounds heavenly. I played it fingerstyle with bare fingers and it's outstanding, Strum it as hard as you like and it just keeps getting louder! Amazing. You will not be disappointed with this guitar. It's simple getting better with age. there are some dents and dings here and there. As you would expect in a 13 year old instrument. Used, but not abused. Some finish checking. The biggest ding is a 'pop' about a quarter of an inch across on the treble bout caused by a close encounter with a microphone. The scale length is 24 3/4 inches, action is low, about 3/32 on the bass 1/8 on the treble. Neck and top are flat. No cracks or repairs. Little fret wear. Cool case, with some road wear and a taped handle. Buy with confidence, three day return policy if you're not happy! On Oct-01-07 at 06:25:10 PDT, seller added the following information:
The guitar has a factory installed B Band undersaddle pickup with end pin jack.
