'50s Harmony tenor archtop guitar COOL

Price : US $137.50
For your bidding enjoyment we have an all-original 1950s Harmony tenor arch-top. Unlike many Kay & Harmony arch-tops of the era, it has nice, low action & no neck or neck-set problems at all. The frets have light wear & the tuners hold fine. There is a bit of finish flaking on the back & sides but the lacquer overall is in good shape, with nice air-brushed-simulated-tiger-stripe-maple accents. There are a few cracks on the back, but since it is a plywood back, they are only through the top ply & do not affect the tone or playability in any way. A previous owner must not have liked the glossy feel of the lacquer, as the back of the neck had been sprayed with flat black paint at one time. Most of it has worn off & it doesn't cover any damage - there are no breaks in the neck at all. Actually, the overspray has protected the original finish & the black could be easily removed. This guitar will need new strings (it has only 3) & has no case but it will be packed with the utmost care. A great addition to your Harmony collection or for just jammin' in your basement activity pit! LOW start bid!
