Up for auction today is a 1966 Danelectro DM-25 tube amp in great condition. The tolex is incredible for an amp of this age and the cabinet is in really good shape as well. The DM25 is an all tube amp with reverb and tremolo. And both work fine on this amp. I recently purchased this the other day on ebay but it's not for me. The amp works fine but it doesn't fit my style. From what I can tell the tubes are original, amperex, westing house and RCA's are loaded in this amp. The amp has a great bell tone and breaks up rather nicely at a decent volume. If you don't know about this amp, it's a piggy-back style like a bassman or bandmaster but smaller and the head fits inside the speaker cabinet for transporting. Now for the bad news, it's missing the foot switch but the tremolo and reverb can be controlled from the front panel so you can buy a new one, find an old one or just leave it as is. The original speaker choke has been disconnected and a standard 1/4' jack has been installed but the choke is still there if you want to convert it back. Also the pots are scracthy but a shot of electrical cleaner by an amp tech can take care of that. It's rated at 25 amps but I think it's closer to 15, most of these companies over rated their output. It also has the orginal 2 prong plug but it's not frayed and seems to work fine. Also the speaker looks to be the original Jensen. Email with any questions and good luck bidding.
