YOU ARE BIDDING ON GIBSON LES PAUL JUNIOR (NO BUY IT NOW OFFER) (ONLY SHIPS TO US) (NO RESERVE) (PAYPAL ONLY) LES PAUL JR. - single cutaway mahogany body, black pickguard, mahogany neck, 22 fret rosewood fingerboard with dot inlay, wrapover stop tailpiece, 3 per side tuners with plastic buttons, nickel hardware, single coil pickup, volume/tone control. Available in Brown Sunburst and Cherry finishes. Mfd. 1954 to 1963. The decription you are reading was pulled off the gibson web site, it pretty much describes the guitar perfectely except it has 2 double coil pick ups. The SERIAL NUMBER is 510103 and there is also a 2 stamped to the bottom of the oval, i'm sure this means something but I don't know what. According to the website the guitar serial number means it was manufactured in 1965 or 1968 which doesn't make any sense. I bought this guitar in 1989 and have loved and played it for many years, I don't want to sell it, but I have to many guitars at the present. It has Seymour Duncan 59 in the bridge and Jeff Beck in the neck. It's been taken in several times for a tune up since I have owned it, this is definelely a used guitar and although everything works great on it it has alot of miles on it. About 10 years ago it was dropped at a show and the body of the guitar was cracked, it has been repaired and excepted for the cosmetics it plays beautifully. There are major dings, scratches and belt buckle marks all over this guitar, but thats what makes it special. Good luck!!!
