Kramer snake skin electric guitar project for luthier
This guitar is no longer for sale (sold on 2007-11-02)
Price : US $76.00
This Kramer guitar has been covered with real diamondback rattle snake skin. The skin is a little rough around the edges and needs about 10% of it glued down. Contact cement is recommended. It appears to have some kind of locking nut which evidently necessitated two 1/4' holes bored under the nut through the neck in that area. What you see is what you get. Most hardware is missing. The fingerboard is rosewood and almost looks like Brazilian although I doubt the guitar could be old enough for that. I have been informed that it seems to be a Kramer Focus series from the 80's. The neck, frets and neck joint look to be in good condition. I have no idea what wood the body is but neck appears to be maple. I'll try to answer any questions you might have although these type of guitars are not my area of expertise. It comes with a black padded gig bag that says 'Kramer' on it and fits the guitar perfectly.
Sorry but I can only take bids and UPS ground to the lower 48 states. USPS is not convenient in my location. Paypal is preferred and I will email a UPS ground tracking number upon receipt of funds from the winning bidder. Shipping is a flat rate $12 and does include insurance. Thanks for looking.

I've been now informed that the guitar might be a 'Striker' series rather than a 'Focus' series. Not really sure since electrics are a mystery to me and really don't want to mislead anyone.
