2001 Gretsch 6120-SSL

You are bidding on a Brian Setzer Signature Gretsch , model  6120-SSL.  This guitar features a beautiful flamed maple body prevalent on many Setzer signatures, as well as being finished in nitro-cellulose lacquer finish.  The lacquer finish is desirable because it is thin and allows the wood underneath to breath, helping the guitar age better, and also because lacquer finish was standard when classic 6120s like the one this guitar is modeled on were rolling off of the production line.

I purchased this particular guitar a few years ago from E.M. Shorts (great company) and it had a very small ding, (almost like a finger nail indentation), on it which I've included a photo of.  The salesman who sold me the guitar told me that the store had been broken into and several guitars were knocked over, one of which being this Gretsch.  The ding in no way affects the playability, and it is not very noticeable, (I had a hard time getting a good shot of it).

This guitar was made by Gretsch before Fender took over the company, and it has the Gretsch filtertron pickups in it as opposed to the TV Jones pickups.  Both the pickup selector and the tone (or mud) switch work fine, as do the individual and master volume controls.  While the dice volume knobs aren't installed, they are included, I just prefer the gold knobs.  The guitar also includes the factory checklist and Gretsch certificate.

The guitar is in great shape, I just don't play it enough to justify owning it at the moment.<
