Hello, up for auction is a very rare, Yamaha LL400 acoustic guitar, handmade in Japan. The LL400 is one of Yamahas top of the line, handcrafted, and most expensive guitars ever. These babies produced in the between '99 and '04 listed for $1,300 new. A beautiful guitar, with mother of pearl inlay around the soundhole, clear plastic pick guard, thin Yamaha neck (straight as an arrow) and Yamaha non-locking tuners. This guitar has a wonderfull tone and big booming sound that maintains volume even when fingerpicking. I can't say enough about this guitar. It rivals any other manufacturers (I won't mention names) handmade instruments.
The guitar is in nice condition The neck and top are pristine. The back suffers from a slight case of belt rash, as is shown in the pics, and there is also a slight stress fracture at the bottom end by the strap peg/input (also shown in pics). This fracture has been attended to by a professional luthier and has been proclaimed dormant, meaning it's not going anywhere or getting any bigger. The guitar is all original save for the addition of a passive, under the saddle pickup.
The guitar ships in it's original brown leather hard shell case.
