I purchased this guitar new in 1994. It is in very good condition, but it has given me hundreds of hours of enjoyment so it is not in mint condition. It has a visible ding in the front approx. 5/8' long and three or four chips in the finish around the back edge. If you look closely there are light pick scratches around the sound hole and pick guard that do not go through the finish. The 'satin' finish is mostly a gloss finish now from being handled so much. The good news is that the wood has aged very gracefully. The top has taken on a nice dark honey tone and the body has a nice dark mahogany color which is much more pleasing than the later models. The headstock is black with gold logo rather than the light natural mahogany of other years. This guitar is structurally sound. The bridge and neck joints are tight and there is no deformation in the top. No cracks and has never needed any repairs. The neck is true and easily adjustable with the truss rod. No problems with the pick guard lifting at the edges. It is currently set up with light gauge bronze strings and has a low actio
