Price : US $925.00
You are bidding on a Gibson J-60 Traditional. It has the Fishman 11 pick-up, with original Hardshell case. It is in very good condition, and plays very well and is in awesome shape. It features a hand tuned top with Gibson's '30s-style 'Advanced Bracing
Pattern' which gives this guitar a volume, tone, and projection
suitable for concert hall and ensemble performance. It was made at the Bozeman Plant , MA, USA, January 29th, 1999 with Production Number: 29
The guitar has a rich tone when finger picked and performs exceptionally well for flat-picking solos. In 1997 the guitar was renamed the Gibson J-60 Traditional which had gold plated tuner buttons and had dot inlays and was discontinued in 1999 . It is one of the finest sounding and playing square shoulder dreadnaughts you will ever find.
I am not the original owner, and I have no history other than the gentleman I got it from is a collector and not a player. I got this along with a Martin in a trade for another guitar I had. I have polished it, changed the strings, and played it both plugged in and unplugged and it has an amazingly rich and full sound. Listed below is what was shown on the Gibson sight.... Thanks for looking. I reserve the right to cancel bidding on this guitar due to local sale.
