Regal Venetian Parlor 40's project

This is a Regal parlor size guitar. I had the guitar looked at by an employee at Willie's American Guitars in St. Paul, MN. They said it was made in the 1940's by the Regal Guitar Company. It is a very cool guitar, with real wood binding and a gorgeous floral design on the top. It has a tulip venetian style headstock. The guitar is far from prestine condition. It is missing the bridge and has many scratches on the back (see pic). It will need some work, but whem it's finished it will be amazing. It has a V style neck and could be set up for slide or to be played regular. I have described this item as accurately as I can, but if you have questions, send me a message, and I will try to answer them. Thanks for looking. On Dec-15-07 at 05:43:49 PST, seller added the following information:
Howdy, a little update on this guitar. It appears that I may have been wrong about my description. Although I remember being told the history of this guitar by Willie's, I also had 2 other guitars looked at, and I may have confused them. I received this info from a fellow e-bayer. 'It is a Stromberg-Voisinet from the early 20's. S-V became the Kay Musical Instrument Co. The headstock is a 'Half-slotted Venetian' style. The bridge would have been ebony.' After I read this, I remembered that this guitar is actually a Kay. Sorry to anyone that has bid based on the wrong information. Thanks for looking.
