This is a vintage Sears, Roebuck & Co. Supertone Hawaiian Guitar, as found, from the 1940's? or 1950's? It has great graphics on the front and both sides. It has celluloid binding in a checkerboard pattern. The guitar measures approx. 36' tall (18' body, 18' neck), 12-1/2' wide, 3-1/2' deep, and weighs approx. 2-1/2' lbs. It has a good dove-tail neck joint. The guitar is missing the turning keys and nuts, fingerboard, string peg, and there is a slight crack on the back which is approx. 12' long. There is a paper label on the inside which states 'We Guarantee This Supertone instrument to be free from defects and flaws and to comprise the best materials and workmanship and tone that is possible for the price. Sears, Roebuck & Co. F13411' It is definitely worthwhile for restoration. Please email me with any questions you may have.
