1966 Epiphone Broadway vintage guitar
This guitar is no longer for sale (sold on 2007-12-06)
Price : US $1,750.
For bid is my Dad's 1966 Epiphone Broadway, which he purchased new in that year. After a couple of months he decided he liked the sound of the pickups in his 1965 SG Standard, so he had those pickups put in the Broadway. He also moved the tune-o-matic bridge from the SG to this guitar. The bridge is nickel, but the pickup covers are chrome. Dad was very proud of this guitar and was always careful with it, but there are some nicks and dings on it. He felt it was a dressed-up ES-175. Except for the pickups (which are early Gibson patent number t-tops (like a PAF)) and bridge, all else is original, with no other repairs or changes. The serial number is 848XXX. This is a very nice guitar in excellent to near mint condition. The parts alone a worth most of the starting price. This doesn't appear to be the original case, but it is a hardshell, which properly fits the guitar.
Thank you for looking at this auction. Because of its age the guitar is being sold 'as is'. Please ask questions before you bid. The guitar will be well packed and shipped within the contential US for a flat rate of $85 (including packing and insurance). Payment is due within 4 days after the auctions end. I prefer Paypal, but Cashiers checks and USPS Money Orders are OK. NO personal checks. The guitar is also being listed locally, so I reserve the right to end this auction at any time.
Good Luck and don't wait to bid!!
