Vintage Kay thinline electric guitar arch craft TONE
This guitar is no longer for sale (sold on 2007-12-22)
Price : US $175.50
HERE's SOME INFO I RECEIVED AFTER LISTING:
harmony model h45 mars, has the alden department store brand on
it they called it the 9908 hollowbody tuxedo made only in the year 1962
pretty rare for collectors
now for my initial description!
Cool old single cutaway, single pickup electric guitar for the days of old...
I believe it is a
although there is no name on it
looks kinda like the Old Kraftsman stencil on the headstock
but don't really know what it is specifically
what I do know, is that it's one cool guitar
I generally play slide on it, and the single neck pickup really has that throaty growl ala' Lowell George and the like
still in pretty good, and from what I can tell, all original condition
certainly not museum mint condition
but a nice example from the time period
I'd guess it to be a 60's era guitar
plenty of nicks, dings, and scratches (character!)
great for collectors of groovy old guitars
comes in a gig bag, but will be packaged securely for safe arrival
the guitar seems to be a semi-hollowbody model
super lightweight and a beefy neck
nut width is 1-3/4'
body thickness is just under 2'
body at widest bout is just over 13' accross
Thanks for checking out this funky little axe!
