This is a 2005 Epiphone FIrebird VII. Plays easy and sounds great. Three mini humbuckers. Epiphone lyre vibrola tailpiece. Pearloid block inlays on the neck. Looks almost identical to the Gibby version aside from the epiphone logos, one ply pickgurad and headstock routing. Cosmetic flaws are as follows: Gold on pickups, tailpiece and other hardware is worn away in spots, and is slightly tarnished. the tarnished areas should clean up easily, i just haven't tried. The wear on the gold parts actually makes this guitar look really cool and vintage. There are a few chips in the paint. One is right underneath where your right arm rests on the top edge of the guitar. The other is on the top left edge of the headstock. They are both about the size of a small fly. Upper strap button has been moved to the back side of guitar, below the neck joint for comfort/balance. There are cracks in the finish on either side of the neck joint that dont even go through the finish. They are visible, but just feels slightly raised to the touch. This guitar is perfectly sound structurally, believe me. I actually did a show with it last night and it was fine. The back side is really almost new looking. The neck is the same except for a few very small indentations from the low E string near the 5th and 6th frets.
The case included is an Epiphone Firebird case with plush grey interior. I bought the case about a year after the guitar, since they dont give you the case with these guitars. Basically new, with a decent sized rip in the tolex on one edge, and a few minor ones here and there. Still smells new inside too!
I have attempted to be as acurate as possible when d
