BC Rich Stealth Floyd Rose Kent Armstrongs MIJ
This guitar is no longer for sale (sold on 2007-11-19)
Price : US $750.00
Up for grabs is a 1982 NJ series red BC Rich Stealth. It is in great shape for its age, with its share of chips and dents, the most noticeable ones shown in the pictures. It features a bolt-on 24-fet neck, the famous “R” tuning machines, and a BC Rich licensed Floyd Rose with locking nut. The bridge pickup is a Kent Armstrong Motherbucker quadrails (two humbuckers in one, 27k output!!!) and the neck pickup is a Kent Armstrong Super Distortion. These extremely hot pickups alone add up to $180. Here’s the thing: the luthier that installed the pickups wasn’t sure of how to do it, so he did it wrong: only one pickup sounds, so you will have to re -install them it if you want to hear the other pickup, because I don’t have the time to do it. It has a new set of strings. Tremolo back plate missing. No case included.
The last time an NJ Stealth was auctioned, it sold for $1100, with no tremolo and with stock pickups. My reserve price for this metal machine is less than half that number. Don’t miss this auction!
Item sold AS IS. Ask all questions before bidding: all sales are final.
No negative or zero bidders. Auction for continental USA only.
Payment expected within 7 days of the end of auction.
s/h: $50 due to the odd shape of the guitar.
