Up for grabs is my hot-rodded Dean Cadillac Select in quilted red finish, and with some pretty neat mods. This guitar was bought and tricked out to shred, and it does that very, very well. It is in nearly new condition, and has been babied the entire time Iíve owned it. But it is a duplication of tones in my arsenal, and I find myself in need of something that cleans up better.  This is the import version, and is not American made.

Pickups in this guitar are Seymour Duncan JB model, at both the bridge and the neck. Pickups were bought here on eBay, and I had them installed locally. One of them was drilled out when I got it (for direct mounting), but I soldered nuts on the back and now the screws work just fine. I also added Schaller Strap Locks, and moved the neck button over to the side of the guitar so that it balances much better. If you have ever played a stock Caddy, you know why I did this - so the guitar stays in the right position and does not lean away from you while playing. Finally, I removed the stock tailpiece and installed a Gibson TP-6 fine tuning tailpiece. It has a little tarnish/wear, but it looks pretty good, and it makes keeping this beast in tune MUCH easier. Stock Caddys come with push/pull tone pots that split the wimpy stock pickups into single coils, but you just do not play this guitar in single coil mode. It looks and behaves like a truly great rock machine. But the push/pull pots are still there, if you want to connect them and use it that way.

This guitar is used, but it does not look that way %3
