Up for bid is a 1989 Charvel Fusion Custom in a desert crackle finish in excellent condition.  The guitar was purchased new back in 1989 for $700.  Included in the sale is the original chainsaw syle hardshell case. The guitar is a schredder's dream with an ultra thin, but straight as an arrow, 24 fret neck with a deep cutaway for easy access to the upper frets.  While the guitar was made in Japan, the quality, fit and finish of this guitar is of exceptional quality for an import guitar.  The guitar is a slightly smaller scale, I'm pretty sure its 24.75' but can't say for certain.  The action on this baby is very low, but has no buzzing.  The playability of this thing is on par with my PRS custom 22, exceptionally easy to play but with a thinner neck than the PRS.  The entire guitar is stock, nothing has been altered. Other features include:

1 tone control, 1 volume control, 5 way switch
Bridge pickup is Jackson J85 standard humbucker.
Middle and neck pickups are Jackson J200R single coil size rail humbuckers. All pickups are passive.
The bridge is a recessed locking Schaller Floyd Rose in black finish. Excellent quality! Never goes out of tune.
All black hardware.
Jackson tuners

The finish is in excellent condition, no dings or scratches (beyond a few very minor surface scratches which are nearly impossible to see, nothing through the surface at all and impossible to photograph) but the lacquer finish has yellowed from age.  I've tried to show this in the pictures, but will say that the yellowing i

I've got one similar to that. Look on the backplate where the neck meets the body and it should be a 6 digit number. The 1989 models apparently should start with a 3 according to the Jackson/Charvel forums.
