I purchased this guitar in 2001. It has been a great guitar. I've used it playing in church live quite a bit. Sounds amazing plugged in. I am selling it because I bought a more expensive guitar. The guitar is in great shape. It does have some nicks on the finish I showed in the pictures. It also has some small hairline knicks in the finish around the soundhole that can't show up in photos. You can only see them in the right light up close. I've read these are pretty normal in older guitars. They are only about 2mm long. Guitar center looked my guitar over and said it was in great shape for the age. Plays and sounds beautiful. This guitar lived in the case at all times when it was not played.
The Taylor 310-CE may be the finest dreadnought acoustic-electric guitar you can get in this price range. The warm tone and open midrange of solid African mahogany back and sides balances the bright and snappy characteristics of a solid Sitka spruce top with scalloped X bracing. Textured satin back and sides, gloss top, ebony fretboard and bridge, plus Indian rosewood headstock for classic Taylor visual appeal. This guitar stayed in the case when it was not played. Serial number is 20010122019.
