Up for auction is an Epiphone Sorrento. This is very similar to a Gibson ES-137, but with P-90 pickups. This is a model no longer produced by Epiphone, although I'm not sure how long it's been out of production. I bought this new at a guitar store in mid 1999, and I know it had been there a while before I bought it so I'm guessing about 1997-1998 range for the year on this. It's a wonderful guitar, sounds good, plays great, very thin, narrow neck, I've got the action set very low, for my liking, although that is obviously adjustable. There is no fret wear, no flaws in the finish, nothing, as I didn't play it very often. I have so many others, and when you play crappy bars and sweaty clubs, you really don't want to bring something this nice out. So this just sits around, I keep it clean and tuned and strum around with it a little every now and then. So it's in wonderful shape. The only modifications are a couple of stickers on the pickguard, and a REAL BIGSBY TRUE VIBRATO!!! I put the Bigsby on as soon as I bought the guitar, you can't have a rockabilly guitar like this without a Bigsby, Includes a hardshell case, strap with Schaller straplocks, and the strings are realitively new 11 guage D'Addarios. $ will not ship outside of US, so don't bother asking, sorry, the prices and paperwork are too much to deal with. $35 to ship, USPS, or I can send UPS, but it will cost around $100.
