Rare Sears Silvertone Guitar/Bass Combo. All Tube Amplifier Model
1483. This vintage amp is in very clean and in great working condition. Point
to point hand wiring. Restored cabinet. Original RCA pre-amp tubes, new JJ
output tubes. Vintage crisp sounding 15' Jensen C15P Speaker. Best amp
I've heard for recording clean and slightly overdriven vintage tones and also a
great bass amp at lower volume.

Sears Silvertone amps sound great. In the past 5-10 years, they have gained
notoriety through use by the White Stripes, Beck, and others. These hand wired amps were made back in the 60s. Today these would be similar to an expensive hand built boutique amp. This amp head is a loud 35 watts.  I know people ho have gigged with these.  This amp has never been gigged and has stayed in my smoke free basement studio.  Features 4 inputs, 2 channels, bass/ treble/ volume controls for each, standby
and on/off switch. I added a 3 prong, grounded, AC power cable to replaced the
original 2 prong so you wont get shocked, and the output was upgraded to a
larger Mercury Magnetics transformer with two external speaker jack outputs (4
ohm and 8 ohm).

Thanks for looking!
