Vintage 1980s Yamaha SC400 w/ Case MIJ Japan
This guitar is no longer for sale (sold on 2007-11-12)
Price : US $209.50
Up for bids is a vintage 1980s Japanese made Yamaha SC400 (ser#076304) in good condition with the original Yamaha hardshell case. This super high quality guitar features an alder body with an ash veneer top, Persimmon Red finish, set-in mahogany 25.5” scale neck with a rosewood fretboard, three Yamaha single coil pickups with a 5-way selector as well as chrome hardware. This Yamaha will hold its ground with any 70s or 80s Strat with a solid trio of strong sounding single coil pickups and a very comfortable ‘C’ shaped fast playing neck (little to no fret wear). In general it is in good condition with a few small dings and several finish scratches, but nothing real major and it looks to be 100% all original. The guitar comes with the original green lined hardshell case. This is an excellent high quality main or back up guitar for gigging musician or a great beginner’s guitar, at a fraction of the cost of a Fender. I own a music store and list some of my inventory on E-bay to hit some more buyers. Please E-mail if you have any questions.

I had one of these guitars when I was 16yo. It was stollen from my home in seattle and I have been looking for it or one like it for a very long time.
